The Super Bowl XLVII was an overall exciting game. The 49'ers nearly had one of the best comebacks ever. Beyonce and Destiny's Child had one of the best Super Bowl performances in a long time! (I hope Justin Timberlake and *NSYNC performs next year. *fingers crossed*) And of course there was the infamous 30-minute blackout. However, we all know that the best part of the Super Bowl are the commercials. This year, there were some epic commercials while others were not so great (*ahem* GoDaddy.com). So with all that being said, here are my favorite Super Bowl XLVII commercials.
I know that this was not a commercial, but it was pure genius. Within minutes after the Super Bowl Blackout occurred, Oreo tweeted this image. The image itself is self-explanatory. Talk about thinking on your feet!
The very first time I watched this commercial clip was during my marketing class, and it was quite entertaining. The Volkswagen "Get In. Get Happy."commercial gave you the opportunity to have a sunny day. A great message with a good commercial.
The 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe commercial "Epic Playdate" brought the watchers into the lives of a family who had one of the most, well, epic play days ever. It brought the watchers into a world of adventure. It was a fun loving commercial for the family.
The Audi "Prom" commercial had one of the best messages. "Bravery. It's what defines us." It worked. It was the best kissing commercial during this year's Super Bowl because it wasn't gross. It was exactly what Audi wanted it to be. Brave. We were rooting for this guy, and he had a night to remember.
This year's Budweiser commercial was, as usual, a tear jerker. It was one of the most heart-warming commercials of the Super Bowl, and it was about a man and his horse! When the two began running towards each other, we know you cried just a tad bit in the inside.
The Tide "Miracle Stain" commercial was great. It had a nice spin on how dedicated football fans can be. Plus the rivalry showing at the end between the man and his wife was wonderful. It was a creative piece.
The Axe "Lifeguard" commercial was so simple; it was great. The ending was quite unexpected and caught me off guard. "Nothing beats an astronaut." Simple. I loved it.
First let's begin by recognizing how awesome it is to have a University of Alabama alumni produce such a great commercial. Congrats Ruth Brown. Asides from that, the commercial truly was one of the funniest, wittiest and most memorable commercials of this years Super Bowl. Plus the goat is pretty awesome. Roll Goat Roll!
Samsung's "The Next Big Thing" was an awesome meta commercial. The writing was clever. It didn't feel awkward that they were making a "behind the scenes" shot a commercial. Instead, the commercial featuring Seth Rogan, Paul Rudd and LeBron James actually worked quite well.
The only way this commercial could have been even better was if Morgan Freeman was the speaker. Nonetheless, Oprah did a wonderful job narrating such an emotional piece. This commercial truly touched my heart because my dad was in the army. I could relate quite well. Plus it was neat how Jeep was going back to its roots in this commercial. Finally, the "Whole Again" commercial had the best message of the Super Bowl. Support our troops.
I had a huge riff in my heart on which commercial was my favorite. Finally, I decided on this one. Although Jeep absolutely had one of the best commercials, Kia's "Space Babies" commercial was the most memorable. It was shown to me a week ago, and I am yet to be sick of watching it. I love it. Plus, the commercial has so many hidden innuendos; it's great! Plus, it is funny for all. It is a family friendly commercial with a bit of spice for the grown-ups. And you can't deny how cute those babies and animals were during the piece. They are so adorable!
